Important Information About Your Delivery:
  • Heat Sensitive Products:
    Chocolate products can easily spoil when transported in hot weather, and should only be dispatched via an overnight service. During warmer periods we will not dispatch heat sensitive products on a Friday or a day preceding a public holiday, as those products are more likely to spoil due to the extra time in transit. Our packaging materials will help to protect heat sensitive products, but for an additional $3.00, we can pack a light-weight, *re-usable frozen ice pack with your goods. We strongly recommend that you select this option if you have any concerns about spoilage to heat sensitive products, as we cannot accept responsibility for heat damaged products that are transported without an ice pack.
    *You will be able to re-freeze and re-use your ice pack again and again. Ice pack contents are non-toxic.
  • Deliveries to Unattended Addresses
    Express Post satchels and parcels sent by unregistered mail will most likely be left at your front door (or in a letterbox if it is big enough). Depending on the driver and the situation, sometimes the parcel will be returned to your local post office and a note will be left in your letterbox. Unfortunately we are unable to advise a delivery time. We are happy to write a message on the parcel such as “Leave behind gate if no-one is home” or whatever is more appropriate. Bear in mind the driver delivering your parcel is unaware of its contents, and could potentially be leaving chocolate in the sun. If you have concerns about a parcel being delivered when you’re not at home, you may prefer to use Express Post Platinum or Registered Mail which require a signature on delivery. Another option would be to have the parcel delivered to a business address. The purchaser assumes full responsibility for any consequences arising from goods being delivered to an unattended address.
  • Liability
    Whilst we will take due care to adequately pack your goods, we cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost due to circumstances that are beyond our control. This applies to goods in transit or after delivery. We will gladly follow up on any delivery problems with Australia Post, but by placing an order with Sugar Free Zone Pty Ltd, to the extent permissable by Australian law,
    the purchaser absolves Sugar Free Zone Pty Ltd and its employees of any responsibility for the goods once they have been delivered in good condition to our local post office.
  • Our Satisfaction Guarantee covers the condition and/or quality of the goods received. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the goods, or the condition in which the goods were delivered, you may return the unused portion for a refund. Our Satisfaction Guarantee DOES NOT COVER heat damaged goods ordered without an ice pack,
    or goods that you no longer want, or ordered by mistake, or simply don't like the taste of. Clearance items are non returnable. All returns must be pre-approved.
    Goods will not be refunded if they are returned without prior approval, please ring for details.
  • Important note about Compensation from Australia Post for Lost or Damaged goods
    It is Australia Post's policy to only pay compensation to US (the consignor) if your parcel DOES NOT GET DELIVERED. Once your parcel is delivered, any compensation for damaged goods can ONLY be paid to YOU (the consignee). In the case of goods damaged in transit it is vitally important that you advise your nearest post office ASAP and ask for a compensation claim form.

Adelaide Metro Area Only
  • Fast Way Courier service - Next Day Delivery (25Kg Max) - $7.50
    This is the best option for local customers. There are no physical size limitations to consignments.
SA Country & All Other States
  • Overnight Service
    • Express Post Satchel (Max 3Kg) - $11.50
      Guaranteed Next Day Delivery to destinations within the Express Post Next Day Delivery Network

    • Will your order fit into an overnight satchel?     Your goods must fit into this box AND be under 3Kg.
      A satchel offers no physical protection whatsoever. We prefer to pack goods inside a box that is then inserted into the satchel.

      3Kg Satchels are only suitable for smaller consignments, as there are physical size limitations to consider as well as weight limitations. Some bulkier objects may not fit into the satchel, even though they weigh under 3Kg. The 3Kg limit applies to the total weight of the consignment, not the nett weight of the goods ordered. This may not be a problem for some products such as candies which are compact and more robust, but for easily damaged products like biscuits, or items in glass jars such as jams and sauces, extra protection is required. An ice pack weighs around 200g, and this weight must also be taken into consideration if required.

      If we cannot fit your order in a satchel with adequate packaging, we will contact you and offer an alternative delivery method.

    • Express Post Parcel (3 - 20Kg) - P.O.A.
      Guaranteed Next Day Delivery to destinations within the Express Post Next Day Delivery Network

    • Unlike 3kg Satchels, this is not a flat rate. The cost varies depending on total weight and destination. We are happy to provide you with a quote.
  • Surface (Standard) Mail - P.O.A.
    • Cost depends on total weight and destination (generally between $10 and $20). Delivery takes approx 2-3 days depending on destination. The further you are from Adelaide, the longer it will take, particularly in areas outside of capital cities. There are no physical size limitations.
    • Registered mail option. Please add $2.90 for registered mail – this means a signature is required at the time of delivery.
  • Courier Collect If you have your own courier who can collect your goods, please advise.
